Prepared October 19 2026 Version 7
This version takes effect when published as the approved version on the Services. Any required notice, acceptance or separate consent remains governed by this document and applicable law.
1 Scope sponsor and relationship to other rules
Throttle League Inc. (Throttle League, we, us or our) may sponsor free prize contests connected with fantasy motorsports, games, trivia or other announced activities. These general Contest Rules apply when a Throttle League-sponsored promotion expressly incorporates them. The contest-specific rules identify the sponsor, administrator and any participating prize provider.
Ordinary platform access, a fantasy pool, a game score or a leaderboard does not by itself create an entry into a prize contest or a promise of a prize. The Terms and Conditions and Code of Conduct continue to apply. The Privacy Policy explains personal information practices. A user’s private prize promise is not a Throttle League commitment unless we expressly identify ourselves as its sponsor.
Mandatory law controls first. For a contest’s eligibility, entry, scoring, selection and prizes, its published contest-specific rules control over these general Contest Rules, which control over the Terms. Contest-specific rules cannot permit paid entry into a Throttle League-sponsored contest, lower the 18-year minimum, waive the Quebec prize exclusion or authorize conduct prohibited by the Code. A general disclaimer does not retract a valid advertised prize or remove a non-waivable right.
2 Eligibility and conflicts of interest
You must be at least 18 years old when you enter and meet any higher minimum age or legal-capacity requirement applicable to the contest. Parental permission does not allow a person under 18 to enter. Platform access from age 13 is a separate matter.
A contest is open only to residents of the locations expressly identified in its contest-specific rules who also satisfy its other conditions. Residents of Quebec are excluded from Throttle League-sponsored prize contests. Being able to view a promotion, hold an account or access the Services from a location does not establish eligibility. Do not misrepresent age, residency or identity, or bypass an eligibility control.
Unless a stricter exclusion is published, people involved in designing, administering, judging or securing the contest and their immediate family or household members may not enter. Immediate family means a spouse or partner, parent, child or sibling. Any broader exclusions for employees, contractors, affiliates, sponsors or prize suppliers are stated with the contest.
We may request proportionate evidence of eligibility before entry or award. We remain responsible for administering the published eligibility rules; asking entrants to comply with local law does not replace the sponsor’s own obligations.
3 Free entry and no wagering
No purchase or payment to Throttle League is necessary to enter or win a Throttle League-sponsored contest. A purchase will not improve an entrant’s standing or chance of winning. Entry does not require buying Throttle Points, a subscription, a Pro upgrade or other digital item, paying a pool entry fee, or staking money or something of value.
A contest may require a free account and completion of the activity stated in its rules. It does not require consent to optional promotional email or SMS. Paid upgrades, paid extra attempts, required ad clicks and purchases from an advertiser may not be used as conditions of entry or improved prize eligibility under these rules.
Ordinary internet, device or carrier charges may apply to your access. We do not collect or settle betting stakes. Do not use an official contest to solicit side bets, payments from other entrants or unauthorized fundraising.
4 Information available before entry
Promotional statements must be accurate when made, including before entries open. At the stage required by applicable law, advertising must conspicuously disclose the number and approximate value of prizes, any regional allocation and known material factors affecting the chances of winning. A statement that full rules will appear later does not cure a misleading current advertisement or permit deferral of a disclosure already required. The advertised growth basis must match the specific prize pool; a general platform-user counter cannot replace its player count.
Every Throttle League-sponsored prize contest is identified by name and has published contest-specific rules available before entry opens. Those rules are accessible without a purchase or provision of personal information merely to read them. Essential restrictions are stated in the promotion, with access to the complete rules.
The contest-specific rules identify the sponsor and administrator, applicable contact details, eligible locations, minimum age, excluded persons, opening and closing dates, time zone, entry methods and limits, and any separate pick, event, judging or claim deadline. Eligibility is limited to those disclosed locations and conditions.
Your entry is governed by the disclosed activity, scoring formula, data source, finalization policy, winner-selection method and complete tie-break sequence. Judged entries use the disclosed criteria and weights. Prize descriptions specify the number of awards, value and currency, allocation, and material delivery restrictions or costs. Material factors affecting winning are disclosed with the contest information.
A variable prize fund, verification condition, skill-testing requirement, notification or response period, unclaimed-prize procedure, correction deadline, dispute process, and interruption or cancellation treatment apply only as lawfully stated in the contest-specific rules and applicable law. We do not choose an undisclosed material rule after entry or treat a missing term as permission to select a preferred outcome.
5 How to enter and record an entry
Follow the entry instructions, limits and deadlines for that contest, use your own registered account and provide accurate information. Participation in another pool, game or earlier contest does not automatically enter you.
The applicable server-recorded receipt and published deadline determine whether an entry or pick was submitted on time, subject to investigation of a verified recording error. A reminder, draft-room message, animation, Crew Chief response or unsent selection is not confirmation of a recorded entry. Check the relevant recorded state.
Official automatic picks or automatic drafting operate only as stated in the contest’s rules. The published treatment governs missed picks, defaults, locking, replacement selections, non-starters and withdrawal. A missed pick does not extend the deadline.
6 Scoring race information and final results
Scoring follows the contest-specific rules for eligible events, qualified source, postponements, cancellations, penalties, disqualifications, substitutions, non-starters, incomplete events and dropped results. Deadlines use the stated time zone. We apply the published treatment consistently rather than selecting a treatment after seeing which entrant would benefit.
Displayed race information and standings may be provisional, delayed or corrected. The published contest-specific rules distinguish provisional standings from final results, state when source corrections stop affecting the contest, and describe any permitted later correction of an eligibility or material administrative error.
We may correct a documented data or calculation error consistently with the published rules and applicable law, even if standings change. We must apply the same correction method to similarly affected entries and retain a reasonable basis for the decision. A prediction or win probability is not the contest scoring method unless the official rules expressly make it one.
Contest availability is limited to the eligible locations stated in its rules. A free-entry or skill-based description does not represent that a format is lawful everywhere or authorize a person to bypass an eligibility restriction.
7 Selection tie-breaks and skill requirements
Winners are determined by the method announced for that contest. Judged entries use the published criteria, weights, judging process and conflict and tie procedures. An administrator’s preference announced after entry does not replace that method.
The full tie-break sequence and the treatment of any remaining tie must be published before entry. Time of submission, a further challenge, equal sharing, or another method may apply only if the contest-specific rules lawfully provide for it. We may not add a random draw as an undisclosed fallback after results are known.
A random element applies only where the published format lawfully includes it. Any required skill-testing question or other selection condition is disclosed in advance and administered fairly. Such a question does not replace the other legal requirements for that format.
8 Prizes values and any variable prize fund
Only the prizes described in the contest-specific rules are offered, with the stated number of awards, allocation, approximate retail or cash value, currency and material restrictions. Cash is a prize only where expressly offered; a badge or ordinary game point does not automatically have a redemption value.
A prize is not transferable or exchangeable by an entrant except as the applicable rules or law permit. If a non-cash prize becomes unavailable for reasons reasonably outside the sponsor’s control, a substitution may be made only as permitted by the published rules and law, with equal or greater approximate value and appropriate notice. This does not permit replacing a promised cash award with platform credit at our discretion.
Where a Throttle League-sponsored prize pool offers a prize that grows with participation, growth is based only on players joining that specific prize pool. Total platform registrations, general user activity and participation in other pools do not increase that pool’s prize. The contest-specific rules publish the formula, including the guaranteed minimum, qualifying player count and exclusions, measurement date and time zone, maximum, and allocation among winners. Count corrections and interruptions are handled under those published rules. An informal illustration or live counter cannot silently change the award.
The sponsor remains responsible for valid published prize commitments. We award prizes without undue delay and do not reduce an earned award merely because advertising revenue, sponsorship or growth falls short of our expectations.
9 Verification notification and prize delivery
A person shown as a potential winner remains subject to the published eligibility and verification conditions. Notification, response time, reasonably required documents, any skill-testing step and expected award timing and delivery follow the contest-specific rules.
We may request information reasonably necessary to verify age, residency, compliance and lawful prize delivery, including tax documentation where required. We explain the purpose and provide an appropriate submission route. Do not send identity documents or sensitive tax information in a public post, ordinary chat or Crew Chief request.
Keep the account contact method current and review contest notices. We investigate a reported delivery or platform notification error under the applicable rules rather than automatically treating every failed message as forfeiture. A potential winner’s failure to respond, ineligibility or failure of a published condition may lead to an alternate only through the announced procedure and applicable law.
We will not require payment of an entry, processing or release fee to Throttle League to receive a prize. Any taxes legally payable by a winner, required withholding, shipping limitations or other material prize costs must be handled under applicable law and disclosed where required. A tax document request is not a request to pay money to an unofficial account.
The identified sponsor remains responsible for its prize commitments. The contest-specific rules identify the delivery provider and any permitted alternative if delivery fails. A supplier’s involvement does not by itself transfer the sponsor’s responsibility or authorize a reduction of an earned prize.
10 Eligibility review and contest decisions
Entries and awards are subject to the age, residency and other eligibility conditions in the published contest-specific rules. The platform controls recorded picks, scoring data and results; users cannot edit those records.
We may place an entry or award on hold while verifying a published eligibility condition. A decision must have a documented basis, consider relevant context and follow the published process. Where reasonably appropriate and lawful, the entrant receives the reason and a way to request review.
Any decision that an entry is ineligible, any resulting recalculation or alternate selection, and any recovery of an award must follow applicable law and the published rules. A later unrelated disagreement or ordinary account closure is not, by itself, a reason to erase a valid prize entitlement.
11 Interruptions corrections and necessary changes
Technical failures, security incidents, racing disruptions or events outside reasonable control can affect a contest. We may temporarily pause affected activity where necessary to protect fairness or safety. Recovery, rescheduling, restart, alternate determination or cancellation follows the contest-specific rules and applicable law.
A material change must have a legitimate basis, use the least prejudicial reasonable approach and comply with the published rules and law. We must notify affected entrants appropriately, explain the effect on entries and prizes, and preserve relevant records. We must apply the published scoring and tie-break rules consistently.
Cancellation is not a general escape from a valid prize commitment. The applicable rules and law determine treatment of existing entries, awards and any remaining prize fund. Changes to these general rules do not automatically rewrite the rules of a contest already in progress.
12 Privacy publicity and winner information
We use contest information for entry administration, scoring, eligibility verification, prize delivery, requests and required records, as described in the Privacy Policy. We do not sell entrant information or give a sponsor permission to use it for its own marketing. Necessary prize-delivery processing and legally required disclosure are handled under the Privacy Policy.
Public leaderboards, username and result announcements, and any legally required winners list are limited to the disclosed contest purposes. We collect and disclose only information appropriate for those purposes. Entry does not grant unrestricted permission to publish a legal name, address, identity document, likeness or private messages.
Any additional promotional use of a winner’s photograph, testimonial or identity requires an appropriate disclosed legal basis and any necessary permission. Optional marketing and SMS consent must remain separate from entry. A required contest record is not a blanket mailing-list authorization.
13 Errors complaints and review
Report a suspected entry, eligibility, scoring or prize error to support@throttleleague.com. Identify the contest, account, affected event or result, time and supporting information without exposing another person’s private data. The published contest-administration deadline and review process apply, subject to mandatory legal rights.
We review a properly raised concern using relevant records and applicable rules, correct a verified error where warranted, and explain the outcome where reasonably appropriate. An authorized reviewer without the material conflict handles a disputed decision involving an administrator’s conflict. A complaint does not automatically change a result or pause another deadline.
A determination may be final for internal administration after the published review process, but that does not bar mandatory legal rights, a regulator complaint or access to an appropriate court. No contest dispute deadline may shorten a right that cannot lawfully be shortened.
14 Responsibilities limits and contact
Entrants must protect their account, submit permitted entries honestly and comply with the applicable rules. Alerts can be delayed and third-party race data can be corrected. These limitations do not excuse our failure to honor the published contest rules or a valid prize commitment.
The Terms govern applicable warranties, lawful liability limits and disputes, subject to these rules, the contest-specific rules and mandatory law. These general rules do not impose a blanket release of all claims related to entry or a prize. Any separate declaration or release must be disclosed, appropriate to the contest and lawful; it cannot remove a non-waivable right.
References to racing series, teams, drivers, tracks, app stores or social platforms identify the subject or delivery channel. No sponsorship, endorsement or administration by a third party is implied. Any actual sponsor or affiliation must be accurately identified with authorization.
Apple Inc. is not a sponsor of, and is not involved in administering, any Throttle League-sponsored contest. If a contest is offered through an Apple application, its official rules must be available within that application.
